There are many other advantages to Society membership. Visit the Biophysical Society website for more information.
If your institution has a subscription, you will automatically have access to the tables of contents, abstracts, full-text searching, full text display, PDFs, Medline and GenBank links, and future tables of contents. You'll also see a button at the top of the page confirming you're signed in as part of an institution.
If your institution has not subscribed and you would like to have an institutional subscription, please contact your local librarian.
Yes, Society members and institutions will continue to be eligible to purchase the paper version.
Biophysical Society Members receive access to the online version of Biophysical Journal free as a benefit of membership. Members are also eligible to purchase the print version at a reduced rate. Members may also have access to BJ Online through an Institutional Subscription. Institutional Subscriptions are somewhat more limited than Member Subscriptions. The special member services are not available to institutional subscribers, and full-text access from off of the institution's network (e.g. home access) is not available.
Access to BJ Online is restricted to members of the Biophysical Society and institutional subscribers. Individuals who are not members of the Society may subscribe at the Institutional rate or may apply for Society membership.
